This resort, situated on the
Black Sea coast, has a marine climate influenced by steppe climate. It has two
beautiful beaches, one on the sea, facing east, the other on the lake, facing
south. Eforie is very popular sea water and sunshine, mud and fresh water has
an important curative effect on the organism. It lies 6‑20 m. above sea level,
with an average annual temperature of 11.3 C (reaching 21.1 C in summer). The
average daily sunshine is 91/2 hours in June, 11 in July and 10 in August.

in a region of wooded hills, at an altitude of 360 m. It has a transition
climate with mild winters and cool summers. The average temperature is between
1.60C below zero in January and 20.3 C in July. Rain falls toward the end of
spring and the beginning of autumn.

the south‑western part of the country, at an altitude of 160 m., in the Cerna
Valley, near the Danube. The Romans referred to it as "Ad Aquas Herculis

The climate is continental‑Mediterranean transitional, with minimum rainfall in
August and maximum in November and December.

Sovata has average temperatures of 8.60C, 3.4oC below zero in January and 18.5
C in July. It has a sub‑Alpine climate with mild winters and coo) summers.
